Alex O’Geil is an Okanagan-based Solo Latin Ballroom dancer with quite a different approach to the art of dance:

While she could lead audiences through classic Latin rhythms – from a sensual Rumba to a sharp Cha-Cha-Cha or an energetic Jive – Alex brings her own creative signature to the floor, blending traditional Latin movement with influences from Jazz, Ballet, and overall modern dance.

As an award-winning Life-Cycle Celebrant® & Wedding Officiant, Alex doesn’t miss any opportunity to celebrate people’s stories, captivating audiences with the spoken and visual art of ceremony.

Originally from Austria, Alex began her journey in Ballet and Jazz before discovering her love for Latin Ballroom at 14.
She went on to perform at prestigious events, including the Vienna State Opera House, City Hall, and other grand locations, finding her way back into this passion a few years ago, earning gold in Latin formation competition in Vancouver.

Now based in the beautiful Okanagan, Alex continues to explore her solo dance journey through performances, creative collaborations, and also offers private Solo Latin Ballroom lessons for beginners, taught in the comfort of your own home – bringing the joy of dance to you.
